Styliana Markou
Styliana Markou is a speech and language therapist and a founder of the “Ergologio” Special Therapies Centre, which she set up in 2024. She graduated from the European University Cyprus in 2015 and has more than 10 years of experience in speech therapy, working with both children and adults.
Experience
As part of her professional training she completed placements in a range of therapy and education settings, with both children and adults, gaining broad experience. Her placements took place in special schools, at Archbishop Makarios III Hospital and in private speech pathology practices.
She holds a licence to practise and is a member of the Cyprus Association of Registered Speech Pathologists. She has also attended many specialist seminars in areas such as dyslexia, alternative communication, voice disorders, phonological disorders, autism spectrum disorders and oro-facial exercises, continually adding to her knowledge and therapeutic approaches.
